Jacob Green

ASSOCIATE

An associate attorney at Phillips & Paolicelli, LLP, Jacob focuses primarily on personal injury and Child Victim Act cases. Prior to joining the firm, Jacob was an Assistant Prosecutor at the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office in Newark, New Jersey, where he served in the Domestic Violence Unit and Adult Trial Section. As an Assistant Prosecutor, Jacob worked on numerous investigations and gained substantial courtroom experience. Throughout that time, he prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases ranging from Disorderly Persons Simple Assault to First Degree Attempted Murder.

Jacob is admitted to practice law in both New York and New Jersey. He received his law degree from Penn State Law in 2017. While in law school, Jacob served as the Director of Competitions for the Moot Court Executive Board and was an award-winning competitor on the Philip C. Jessup International Law Team. At graduation, Jacob was selected for membership in The Order of the Barristers – an honor given to a select number of law students across the country for excellence in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing. He also participated in Penn State Law’s Civil Rights Appellate Clinic. Following graduation, Jacob served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert B. Reed, P.J. in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
