Marc C. Gorrie

Marc C. Gorrie joined Phillips & Paolicelli as an Associate in 2019, focusing his practice on complex federal litigation and protecting the rights of investors. Prior to joining Phillips & Paolicelli, Marc practiced as a litigation attorney with a prominent firm dedicated to representing the rights of defrauded investors. He identified and investigated potential violations of the federal securities laws and focused his practice on a major securities fraud litigation with a prominent New York law firm.

Marc is a 2005 graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and 2010 graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law – Bloomington (JD) where he held a research fellowship in legal ethics and was consistently on the Dean’s List. He is also a 2012 graduate of the University of Lund, Sweden (LLM, in conjunction with the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law) where he earned honors marks, lectured on U.S. Legal Ethics and on Federal Indian Law, and delivered his thesis.
